Baktash Khadem Zaher - Entrepreneur
Baktash is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a pilot with a Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Studies. He was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, and grew up in New York City.
Baktash is the founder and CEO of Paramount Business Jets, an internationally-renowned leader in the private aircraft industry, with the largest selection of jets in the world and raves from Clive Owen, Angelina Jolie, and Michael Imperioli.
Baktash starred in “FireDancer”, Afghanistan’s first entry in the Oscars for best foreign film, “The Return”, and Spike Lee’s “Inside Man” opposite of Jodie Foster. He has traveled extensively, is fluent in five languages, and has been featured in most of the major media outlets, including ABC, NBC, CBS, BBC, the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Daily News and Zeba Magazine.

“To me, a business is about integrity and a continual relationship built on trust,” says Mr. Zaher, the founder and CEO of Paramount Business Jets who is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, one of the top aviation schools in the United States.
After working in the aviation business for over ten years, he decided to start his own Private Jet Company to introduce innovative ways of providing the business cliental the comfort and individual attention that they deserve at a competitive rate.
“We can do this because we don’t have the overwhelming overhead charges that other companies have.” Mr. Zaher has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace studies and is a licensed Pilot who flies himself regularly. His passion for flying and his overflowing interest for airplanes is the reason his company has one of the largest selection of jets. “We have three times more jets then any other jet company in the world today.” He feels it is important for the clients to know about the choices that are available to them.
He is a compassionate humanitarian who believes in giving back. “When I give, I receive.” He continues to give aid to numerous foundations that supports women and children of war, environmental issues and to animal rights foundations.
