Zohra began modeling at the age of 19 and was was immediately recognized as a favorite. Zohra became a local celebrity as she began accepting projects such as fashion shows, TV commercials, magazine covers and catalog ads. Zohra also graduated from the University of Nebraska with business management degree, and hopes to one day return to Afghanistan to help in causes that will benefit her country.

TO ZAHARA: Nobody is telling her not to do it but if you are giong to do it…do it with class, you know what I mean. I’m being completely honest when I say that these pics don’t look professional at all. Even if she has the looks, there are limits to everything. It starts with simple little pictures like these, then it’ll go to half naked pictures, and then at the end we might even see her on a playboy magazine cover. All I’m sayin is don’t let it go overboard.

i dont understand why most of those new afghan “celebs” all
tell us the same stories of fights between them and their families and their so “hard” struggles?!
Please get over it! Do you guys know how many young talented and very beautiful girls are out there in Afghanistan and they tell us every day new amazing stories about their personal progress, their work and their thaughts and ideas on Afghanistan, music, arts??!
“Celebs” annoying us with their “struggles” against their parents, like Xohra, too are in my eyes not from conservative families, cause girls from such families wouldnt do such things. So they have to make up something…something to show the world.
Havent you guys achieved anything else in your life by your own trying that you have to mention this point all the time?
Plz find something else that will make those articles really worthy reading and to be an inspiration for the younger afghan generation.
I have nothing against afghan artists, but taking pictures half-naked or with a glas which at least indicates the drinking of alcohol have nothing to do with afghan culture and never will.
To the women who always defends celebs critics:
btw i’m raised here in Europe, got the best education and no i am not jealouse or anything….so dont even start thinking in that direction-thanks, but you guys have to learn to accept that if they expose themselves so much in public they are a part of public life and have to be able to deal with critical opinion.
So its not your “fans” job to tell every critic, that we might be jealouse.

Ok First of all she isn’t pashtun, and she isn’t a stanikzai. Her name isn’t spelled with an “X” but more with a “Z”. Her full name is Zohra Jamila REZA SADAT! Plus she is married to her cousin and was also in Valy’s second Khanoumi video, she shot it a month before she got married and her husband was on the set with her all comfortable about the idea…WOW shamelss on his behalf right? All I have to say is: “Who cares if she is modeling and showing herself off. Apparently she doesn’t come from a conservative family because she drinks like there is no tomorrow and she runs around doing things with other men even though she herself is married”. As a man let me tell all of you afghan girls that are posting “SHE IS FAKE/UGLY/etc”, I don’t think she is that hot. I mean look its obvious that she is wearing tons of make up and they computer edit her pics to make them look perfect. But I have seen Afghan girls in real life look ten times hotter than she is and that too they don’t wear pounds of make up nor do they get their pics computer edited. In my eyes I find a real girl from the inside as gorgeous, not a plastic doll like her.

FIRST AND FORMOST, im not here to bash to on her, personally I don’t know her, nor do I care how she decides to live her life. I say if she want to “model” and bare her body to the world, so be it. Who are any of us to say otherwise. What one decides to do with themselves is thier own decision, right? Cause at the end of the day, we only answer to Allah SWT.
I myself am not religious, yea I drink here and there, but for most of you who are sitting here judging her, I can guarantee you do shit that’s haram or not permitted in Islam, right? of course because there’s so many undercover females out there who act conservative and innocent when they are the exact opposite, don’t put up an innocent front.
I don’t in any way consider this girl a model, so she has a pic on a magazine cover, but it’s not Vogue, or Elle, Or some other established fashion mag. I don’t find her beautiful I mean she is okay looking, but like Zabi jan says, there are TONS of girls out there who don’t have to cake on makeup or edit thier pics to show beauty. And as for being in the Valy video, who cares that’s not something to be proud of cause I know if I had a fam member in ANY music video I would probably make fun of them for life. Anyways, what she does with her life is up to her.

What I don’t understand about you people is that there is nothing wrong with this girl doing what she perceives? Why are afghans so up on other peoples business? I am shocked at the comments that I am reading in this website. I can not believe that we have so many ignorant Afghans that still think as if we are back in the old ancient times. And another thing that Afghans in general especially the traditional Afghans need to realize is that some of us Afghan girls come from families that are not so religious or traditional. We have parents, aunts, and uncles who would love to see us model and show our beauty such as this girl has done. Ok First of all I know this girl and I grew up with her and she is a good girl. Her family is just as Muslim and Afghan as any other Afghan family. She knows how to pray, cook, clean, take care of kids, read and recite Arabic/Farsi. Hello to everyone,
First of all i want to say, that we afghans should be proud of Zohra of what she has accomplished in her life. With those comments that people wrote about being a muslim and being a pashtun, and it is bad to do these things, well you are all wrong about that. First of all in life we all make mistakes, and no one is a 100% good muslim it was only the prophet who was perfect.
Anyways, If afghanistan and their people always make comments like this, then we wont reach far. And again for those guys and girls with negative comments, why do you even visit this page, go do your prayers and stop criticising about your other afghans. And pray that for your family and for yourselves. Let me tel you a mattal(it is like a phrase) ” When someon points and criticisez someone else with a finger, 4 otherfingers is pointed at yourself” Meaning that if you say somoene is bad your bad yourself. A good person never criticisez!!! It is also written in the Quran, this is for those people who say, she is a shame to Islam( which she is not)

who are we to judge what she does or what she has done anyway?? only allah can judge us. i’m not jealous or not even close to that but i don’t see her being a naturally pretty girl, maybe with makeup and all the jazz yes but otherwise she’s just a normal looking female to me.
